Storm Summit Ascent 15lbs

The Summit Ascent is the sanded, heavy-oil member of the Summit family. Storm puts the Centripetal HD A.I. core behind an R2S Solid Reactive cover and leaves it at a 4000 grit finish, which is a lot of usable traction without being a grinder.

At 15 lbs the core reads a 2.46 RG with a big .056 differential. That low RG gets the ball revving early and the high differential produces serious flare, so it clears oil in the front and midlane instead of skating through it. The 4000 grit surface is the key detail: it is sanded enough to control fresh, heavy volume but fine enough that the ball still gets down the lane and keeps shape at the breakpoint. First ball out of the bag on a fresh, oily pattern.
